Ahh, Harry Potter, one of the newer classics.
Before recently, I’m fairly certain I had only read it in German and listened to it as an audiobook.
I got gifted the gorgeous 20th Anniversary Slytherin Edition of the Philosophers Stone.
I set right away to re-reading this classic (could you call it a classic?).
Now, Harry Potter is an amazing creative masterpiece, but the first one falls flat compared to some of the others.
In general it is more basic and less interesting in certain parts than some of the others in the series.
The climax was interesting and I loved the iconic beginning, the middle is where it lagged a bit.
In general, you definitely should read it.
