Before I read this book, I saw people say that if you loved Big Little Lies, then you will love this one. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case for me. I tried so hard to fall in love with this book, but I felt like it dragged on in the middle for quite some time, and once I finished it, I didn’t have that happy feeling, like, “Yay! That was such a good book.” I wanted so much more out of it, so for that reason, I don’t know that I would recommend this one. I wanted it to be fantastic, and it just didn’t hit the mark with me at all.
