Starts slow, finishes strong!
It took me a long time to read this book; I struggled with the first third or so. After that initial struggle, I really enjoyed this book. I loved Max and Bianca; the evolution of their relationship was well done. I loved the side characters in the story, the cricket match, and Perusia; they added a richness to the book I quite enjoyed. The bonus story was delightful.
