The Faster I Walk, the Smaller I Am by Kjersti A. Skomsvold

4.0

this novella tells the story of an elderly, very lonely woman who wants to die but is afraid of dying, wants people to notice her but at the same time is afraid of people noticing her, and maybe wants to leave a mark upon the world before she has to leave it.

one of the saddest & most heartbreaking books i've read all year, made me cry multiple times including on public transport. it was really good, and very sad.
