Full disclosure, I wasn't expecting to love this. Historically, cozy, low-stakes sff really only works for me when the themes are super strong. But I did end up falling for this. The characters were all just so easy to become attached to that I absolutely loved watching them and rooting for them. And it was kept brief enough that I never felt bored.
