I flipping love Kamren. I can't think of one point throughout this when she wasn't true to herself, to who she was. Perfect match for Dallas.

I think what I really like is that throughout the whole series there is absolutely no doubt that the men are definitely strong, capable and alpha... but... they are not arses. Not one of the ones that I have got to know better have let me down. They are vulnerable in their own ways and, sometimes after a little push, aren't ashamed to ask for help.

I love that the women are all strong... all capable... and all have a place within the Arsenal team.

Kind of surprised that I hadn't left a review before.

And I wonder if we will ever hear about Lilly again? ( 08/08/21 Looking forward to the new 'Refuge Ridge' series... wonder if Cliff will be part of it? )

( re-readathon 17/12/20 )

Re-read 08/04/21 Still feel exactly the same about Kamren... she just rocks. Coupla things tho... Dallas left her a note... she knew where he had gone from reading the note... a little later, after receiving the smartphone she confirms that she cannot read. Haley... how on earth was she still in the Resino area after her sexual abuse of Dallas and mental abuse ( and some sexual ) of Dylan. And why did Bubba still allow her in his place? If he is so loyal to the Mason family... she would've been banned. Sighs.

Another question... well, not so much of a question but a need for more information. Dallas was in the Collective due to a black ops thing... where was his black ops handler? How long was he with the Collective? Why on earth did he sleep with Marla... over and over again? It just feels so wrong. And just a little icky. I genuinely just don't get it. Annddd if he were in there cos of a black ops thing... was there ever any resolution??? I think I need to find a group chat or summat similar to sort this out...

08/08/21 Just finished listening to the Audible version... exactly the same thoughts... the reading, Haley. And how on earth did Riley not know? I mean, people are very good at hiding their 'issues'... but... if they had been friends for so many years and Rachelle had been living with them for a few months 24/7... how did she not see? And Brant was a dick. He has a lonnng road to travel to get redemption from me. Also, the narrator hasn't quite clicked for me... when she get into her rythm it flows... but sometimes her speech is a little stilted for me.
