Out of one prison and into another. Gaining “freedom”, but no understanding or purpose. No future, just a never-ending disquieting present stretched out before you like a vast field. And I know it isn’t particularly the point of the book, but good gravy I have so many theories about the situation that they’re in.

I had a little trouble getting into it at the very beginning, but I ended up really enjoying it and reading it in a single day!
