unfortunately, it took me four months to read this book because i was stuck in the worst reading slump to ever exist (i'm still stuck in it, please send help), so i don't really remember most of the plot to even give an insightful review. but i can say that it was an amazing read. it tackled the themes of ptsd, childhood trauma, attachment styles, and mental health with such a care and understanding, in a way that i haven‘t seen in many other books.
