I'm surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I think if I read it as a teen I would have loved it, but as an adult it works best if you don't scrutinize it. If you take it at face value and don't focus on the plot-holes or plot convenience, it's an interesting idea the world is built on. Solid YA read.
