If You Would Have Told Me by John Stamos

3.5

I enjoyed listening to this book and fully feel that listening is the way to go if you want to read this book. While this book is somewhat surface level in terms of Stamos' life, its stories about things that he never believed would happen to him.

If You Would Have Told Me has some big feelings in it in some areas and some laughs in others. I felt like each chapter was it's own mini story revolving around a faction of John Stamos' life. It's not necessarily chronological in terms of the book as a whole but I'd say each chapter is chronological and that in itself makes the book make sense to me.

One minor thing he said that has, for whatever reason, stuck in my head was "I hate the word fine. It's the linguistic version of beige." I very much like the comparison.

I read it, I learned things I didn't know, and I had a good time doing it.
