Driven to Distraction: Recognizing and Coping with Attention Deficit Disorder by John J. Ratey, Edward M. Hallowell
5.0
This was a great book and very informative. There were a ton of actual cases he talked about and I appreciated getting the real world examples of adhd. This was definitely geared more towards adults with the disorder than children though. However, it does apply to both. He gives practical tips and assurances. For kids specifically I liked the other adhd book I read better, but for adults I prefer this one. I think I might have Derek listen to his other book "driven to distraction at work" cuz he gave great tips on dealing with adhd in the book I read so if he delves deeper on this in this other book then I think it'll be really helpful.
