I thought I would have loved this but I was very disappointed! The story was pretty boring, Freddie's obsession with Cain was annoying and I didn't get the draw to him.. also the addition of Leo and Hannah was super detached to the actual story and I was hoping it would be more connected.

The "twist" was super obvious, and the prologue made no sense? Also as someone raised in Boston, in no way did I feel like the book was actually set in Boston. Let's just say a group of strangers at the Boston Public Library becoming friends or even talking to someone in public is not very accurate for Boston. It was like the author went on yelp and found some places in Boston and then used the pictures to describe the location.

Also,
where does Leo fit into all of this? There seemed to be little reason to have his character in the book, and I was hoping there would be more of a connection to the "writer" Leo.
