um, oh my god?? this was so good, i really enjoyed it. they are DEVOURING the enemies to lovers trope, my GOD the tension?? marvelous. the banter? the longing? insane in the best possible way. the end of chapter 15? lives were changed. the end of the freaking BOOK? i’m in shock and ✨denial✨
i hate taryn i hate locke i hate vivi i hate nicasia i hate cardan’s mother i hate balekin UGHHH. why is Holly Black so gifted at writing antagonists? better yet, Madoc? he is one of the best written characters in this series, icl. he’s so complex, and while you hate him it’s like you also can’t hate him entirely. maybe that’s just my daddy issues tho
