Maybe Now by Colleen Hoover
I was so excited to finish the last book in this series! I LOVED Maybe Someday. While reading that book, I would up on an airplane next to someone who was deaf and couldn't communicate with the flight attendant. I realized how unfair it is that we don't learn sign language as a second language but for someone with hearing loss, that is their only way to communicate. All of this to say, I deeply loved the storyline of this series.
This last book was sweet, almost too sweet. Everything wrapped up perfectly.... While this would normally make me roll my eyes, I liked that everyone ended up happy. It isn't too often that books end with everyone on cloud 9, but because it is the last book in the series, I can go to sleep knowing that happy endings to exist.
Now onto my goal of learning sign language. I try to learn a new sign everyday but whew it's hard to learn new things as an adult.
