This was a bittersweet read, knowing it was the last time Robert B. Parker would write Jesse Stone or Sunny Randall. I'm pleased to say it was an excellent story. He is so locked in with these characters. I'm impressed with how he's able to blend this world while still maintaining the integrity of each respective series. Jesse Stone is a fascinating character and I never tire of him.
