5/5! This book made me so happy and sad at times. I am sure everyone around me was quite annoyed because of all of the feelings and thoughts I had during this book. It was a wonderful historical fiction. I have loved every single book by Gary Paulsen so far and I think this is one of my all time favourites. All of the history pages in this book help understand. I think this book had amazing writing, good characters and so much more. If you are trying to read his novels, this should be one of the first ones you read!
