The second installment of the hit Fourth Wing dragon rider war college series, Iron Flame picks up where Fourth Wing left off, but expanding the world, like lifting off the veil of ignorance. I love that we get a very layered approach to the world, building a more diverse history.
Yes, there are some points that I screamed at the book, including the ending, but I really enjoyed reading this. I'm sorry that it took me 14 months to open the book, but I was scared that I wasn't going to enjoy it as much, but Rebecca did an amazing job with the story. I will be reading Onyx Storm very soon, because I have thoughts, feelings, and questions about some details that occurred in Iron Flame, that I hope are at least partially answered.
Highly recommend.
