This story follows Keegan and Loomis. Loomis is a famous Hollywood bad boy who meets Keegan through a mutual friend, Tinsley. After a chance encounter on the street — with Loomis in disguise for privacy reason. What happens when Keegan’s ex shows up and Loomis steps in, claiming they’re dating?
I enjoyed this story, and the audiobook was a great listen in dual narration format if you’re thinking of picking it up. Starting with Keegan, I liked her character and how willing she was to help Loomis as a friend. Learning that he’s a father and seeing him adapt to the circumstances—while trying to change his image in the media—showed great character growth. I loved the scenes where Keegan would step in to help; they were so sweet and really cemented Loomis’s feelings for her. I also loved that we got to see them spend ten days away together. I will say, I did not suspect who was behind the blackmail, but the reveal was perfect. Overall, it was a great read and listen.
