Knowing that my 5th graders were reading this book, I thought it would be an interesting middle grade read. It was different than I thought it would be. I don't like reading about witchcraft so after listening to about 30 minutes of the book, I decided that it wasn't for me. I didn't like how the story kept diving into the witchcraft culture and legends.
