Diverse cast of characters:

Flaws of characters a main focus:
Complicated
Kayla lives in a home alone and writes to a Pen Pal whom she refers to as Dante. As her life becomes more complicated and her world around her threatens to implode, Dante’s letters seem to help, especially when she needs it.
The characters were strong with their individual growth and own personalities. The setting was detailed well in each scene giving you the sense of actually being there. Everything was an enigma of trope and climax up until the end where it all came crashing down. The build up to this book had me hooked, as well as the characters. 5/5 stars for the writing and story, 4/5 stars for the spicyness.
Would definitely refer this book to others and read again!
