The Secret Lives of Booksellers and Librarians: True Stories of the Magic of Reading
by Matt Eversmann, James Patterson
I loved the concept of this book which tells snippets of backstories of numerous librarians and book sellers. Whilst I did enjoy many of the stories, even shedding a tear or two it felt very repetitive after a while, like I was reading the same thing over and over. A longer version from each character I think would have been more enjoyable.
I would also have liked to hear from other parts of the world, not just USA. Perhaps throw in a Street Library or two as well!
Maybe I need to write my own Aussie version, alternatively I volunteer Trent Dalton as tribute!
