The Bourne Identity
by Robert Ludlum
I am a fan of the Bourne movies, but it’s probably been at least five years since I saw them. So, while reading this book, I was constantly surprised at what was happening and at all the twists and turns that the story takes!
At first, I thought I didn’t remember the movie correctly, but eventually, I realized that the book was just so different from the movie. There are so many more exciting plot points, characters, and relationships that I’m surprised the movies go by the same name.
Overall, I enjoyed the book, but its age or maybe the authors writing experience shows; it was hard to follow and not very engaging at times. Another way to put it: it was more exciting and intricate than the movies but less entertaining at times. I'm glad I read it, but I’m not sure if I'll read more Bourne books.
