This takes place in a castle filled with secret passages for naughty liaisons.
Lily is Oliver's mother's ladies companion, and while she is attracted to Oliver she would never act on it, as her 2 previous husbands have told her that she is a wanton and shouldn't want the things she does or derive pleasure from the act. So she writes it all down instead which is fine until the day she loses her diary.
Oliver has been in a funk for months but then he finds Lily's diary and is intrigued by the woman who could have written such scandalous thoughts and desires. Curious if he can figure out who this lady is is he haunts the secret passageways hoping to meet her.
They do meet and wind up ravishing each other in the dark not knowing who each other is, naughty hijinks ensue.
