I absolutely LOVED the first book and COULDN'T WAIT FOR THIS ONE! I was not disappointed! Alycia keeps the adventure going!

Synopsis: Viv and the crew are making their way to the next Isle on to find the items to break the curse. What they don't expect is to be imprisoned and have to fight for their lives and ability to continue on. Will everyone make it out alive?

What I loved:
- MY LEWIS GETS SOME LOVIN'S! I'm a huge Lewis fan, okay!? I don't care that you're mad at him for his choices. I am too, but I still am a fan!
- The letters. AND the emotion turmoil. We have emotional whiplash! I SWEAR!
- The banter.
- We have new characters! They make a great addition to the team and I'm happy to welcome them aboard! Love me some Kalon and Nova! They are half-dragons. Not quite shifters because they don't change shape, but they're also not full dragon forms either.

What I didn't enjoy:
- Cirrus' plot. I honestly would have no love lost for him if he perishes in this series. Let his character finally redeem himself because the way he treats Viv... I want to punch him in the face and rip out his throat. He's so disrespectful and machismo. UGH!

Spice: The spice is turned up a notch! We have some spicy scenes. Not many, but quite a few are recounted and thrown into the face of the FMC by her MMC boyfriend.

I received this as an ARC and all information herein is my true and honest opinion.
