I loved this book until about the 80% mark. I loved the action, the character-building, the world-building, the plot, all around I was having a blast. Then there is a time jump in the story that skips the entirety of the relationship development between the two love interests. The time jump happens immediately following the main plot's climatic moment, so the book skips straight to the epilogue with no resolution. It is truly the most bizarre book structure I've ever read. It was a huge letdown to an otherwise great book.
