mtama 's review for:
The Ocean at the End of the Lane
by Neil Gaiman
This reminded me of Coraline, with its focus on children and adults and fear and safety in our world. I thoroughly enjoyed how the author's words portray fear and comfort in the reader's heart - that is, if you're open to knowing that everything can be known, albeit not remembered. As much as I liked the book, I would never want to see a film version, for then I will remember the fear.
