Wrangled Love by Ann Einerson
4.0
emotional hopeful lighthearted medium-paced

Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

One summer, a cowboy CEO comes home with a surprise five-year-old son, moves in with his best friend’s sister, and hires her as his nanny. Add a fainting goat, small-town gossip, and a Ferris wheel scene that’ll make you blush, and you’ve got a sweet-and-spicy romance about healing, home, and finding where you truly belong.

What I Loved:
🌟 Jensen stepping into fatherhood instantly, no questions asked
🌟 Briar’s natural bond with Caleb and her gentle, steady love
🌟 The found family vibes with her brothers, friends, and the ranch crew
🌟 Caleb’s growth—from silent and grieving to laughing, talking, and feeling safe
🌟 Ziggy the goat and Nugget the chicken stealing scenes

What Didn’t Work for Me:
Some repetition in the characters’ inner thoughts about fears, the future, and their relationship—pulled me out a bit at times

Favorite Scene:
The Ferris wheel moment—equal parts romantic and spicy, with that perfect small-town fair magic in the air.

Favorite Moments:
🌟 Caleb saying “Night, Dad” for the first time (my heart!)
🌟 Group chat shenanigans with Briar’s girlfriends
🌟 Jensen in glasses, surrounded by parenting books
🌟 Sneaky porch swing talks under the Montana stars

Why It’s Not 5 Stars:
While I adored the characters and the emotional core, the pacing sometimes stalled with repeated introspection. I wanted a touch more variety in the beats between the swoony and heartfelt moments.

Final Thoughts:
This is low-drama, high-heart cowboy romance at its best—sweet, sexy, and full of small-town warmth. If you love single dad x nanny, brother’s best friend, and found family stories with a healing arc, Wrangled Love will wrangle your heart too.
