Darth Paper Strikes Back by Tom Angleberger

4.0

I read the first Origami Yoda book as part of the Seattle Public Library's Global Reading Challenge (for my students). At the end, I knew I would recommend it to my students. I wanted to go ahead and read this one, to see if I should recommend the whole series! At this end of this one, I feel confident that I could recommend this series to a number of my students. They are fun, the chapters are short so easy to find stopping places, but that also helps with the pacing. The writing is how students talk, so I think they will feel part of the group. Star Wars is so big right now, that I think they will really want to read them too! Definitely recommend.

Here's the thing. I read these books for the sake of my students. But now that I've read two, I kind of want to read the next (for me) just because I want to know what else the author will come up with!
