Frost's Forfeit
by Laura Greenwood
I’ve been wanting to read many of this author’s books because they’re all so gorgeous.
This one is just a quick read, under 2 hours. It’s got some great world-building, fun characters, a brewing war, real love (familial), instalove, heat … as you can see it manages to pack in a lot.
I’m not sure whether the author has more plans for this world, but it left me wanting more so I hope so.
Plausibility was a small issue for me once or twice, but overall it worked well. Will definitely read more from this author. There was a little twist that, though I saw coming, was still quote fun.
3.5 stars
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Note:
I read the audiobook. Narrator has a very pleasant, smooth voice and I’ll be seeking more out from her. A 5-star performance.
