Fallen Rebel by C.G. Blaine

4.0

I was not expecting to enjoy this book so much. I've always loved fallen angles specially ones with a different take on angels, demons, and nephilims. It took a while for me to get into the story, but within a few chapters I was addicted to Cass. He's the perfect brooding rebel angel. I can't wait to read the next book.

Cass is a watcher, and he can't get into heaven unless his last charge, Hannah, dies of natural causes. With a threat to Hannah's life, Cass and all his secrets are exposed to her, and the closer the threat gets the closer they become. Falling in love was never part of Cass plan to get back into heaven, but he's ready to spend forever with unless the treat kills her first.

This book is an easy read that is hard to put down. The plot has action and a bit of suspense that keeps you intrigued the entire time. The love between Hannah and Cass is extremely steamy. They were the perfect balance to each other, and I loved reading about it. I do wish their love story started sooner though. I'm definitely excited about the next book.
