4.25 - I really enjoyed Kiss of Steel! It has been quite a while since I read a Steampunk book and it was a nice change. I loved the powerful, almost visceral, chemistry between Honoria and Blade. Both Honoria and Blade are strong personalities, flawed characters, especially Honoria with her stubbornness and pride and Blade's struggle with the darkness of his virus and past. Blade's kindness and care for "his" family was absolutely wonderful. Honoria shouldered so much and her dedication and love for her family was so touching. Even when she realized she made mistakes it was done out of pure, unselfish love. I do wish we had more information and/or background on Honoria's father and research to understand his path and decisions.

Overall, I found the entire cast of characters, premise, settings and unique (at least to me) lore very interesting. Great chemistry too. I will definitely be reading more from this series.
