A dark dystopia that feels similar to Do androids dream of electric sheep, not only In its poise but also the key socio-political themes and humanity (or lack therof)

I loved this read, and finished it in the latter half of an evening, and though parts made my squirm I think it could have lent more into the 'horror' and gore side of things. Saying that, the long-standing impact of certain still linger, so perhaps the at times restricted horror worked better than I thought.

Side note
Having not eaten meat since I was very, very little, it perhaps didn't have the same impact and implicit guilt associated, but trust me, this book is a must-read 🥩
