I don't think I fully grasped this when I read it years ago. Another one I would like to try again, as a fully formed and decently functioning adult.
I sometimes think we lack the experience the authors have when we read these things when we are young. How can we ever even imagine living the way the characters do when we are only 17 or 18. I feel, maybe, I did myself a disservice by reading things that required me to have some knowledge of life. So, let's try again and see if it might not be bettter.
