Did not finish book. Stopped at 38%.

The use of food to describe someone's skin/hair/lips was really offputting. The way it started made it seem set in the past (think big dresses, carriages, etc), and then all of a sudden they mention water bottles and college which threw me out of the story I thought I was immersed in.
