I’m blaming my reading slump entirely on this book. It’s taken me nearly three months to finish this because I was just so darn bored. I hate DNFing books but, my god, do I wish I DNFed this.
I liked the premise and found it interesting for around the first 1/3. However, ultimately, it’s incredibly slow moving, relatively plotless and predictable. I kept waiting for the ‘big’ event to happen that it seemed like it was building up to.
I’m still waiting.
