2.5-3. Ok now I get what people say about the lack of character development in these books. It was a lot more apparent in this book and it felt even more YA than the first. I still read it fairly quickly and thought it was a cool idea but I wasn’t invested enough in the characters or their relationships. Also the big reveal was a total let down. I wish the author would have focused more on the character development and less time on some of the random plot nonsense that seems kinda irrelevant. Also, in the epilogue when I found out Tella was only 16 for this entire book was cringy especially considering the guys in these books are like immortal or non aging or whatever. I’ll read the next one because I already own it but I’m not thrilled.
