Un extraño en primavera, Vol. 1
by Kanna Kii
[Review: Vol. 1 - 4]
This review is probably not going to be very objective, since I've been a fan of Kanna Kii and her characters for a while, but... Anyway, as you probably know, these volumes are the continuation of Seaside Stranger, and they too cover different aspects of Mio and Shun's relationship. However, I felt like in these four the series got closer to the slice-of-life genre, as it showed common problems a couple encounters in their daily lives, always with a hint of comedy.
Apart from these, the story focuses on deeper conflicts too, like learning to love yourself or accepting who you are. And of course, as it is a BL, the main characters also have to deal with homophobia, which sometimes is really sad and infuriating to see from their perspective.
