A False Start by Elsie Silver

emotional funny tense slow-paced

3.5

This book has so many things I love: angst, tension and that irresistible forbidden romance. Nadia and Griffin’s chemistry was undeniable and I was completely hooked on their stolen moments and the way they challenged each other. Every interaction feltelectric. That said, the age gap was a bit too much for me, which kept me from fully loving it. Still, I appreciated how their connection felt real and deep, not just based on attraction. Overall, it was a good read even if the age difference wasn’t totally my thing.
