Life Drawing by Robin Black

5.0

What sets this novel above most is the combination of the story providing me with insights into the human condition and also being engaging at a much smaller scale. Paragraphs or a few sentences throughout the book were beautifully written so I paused to appreciate both their content and form. The story about a middle aged couple, a writer and a painter, is engaging as we follow how outside influences affect their marriage. Bravo!
