I like the formatting of this book as a sort of script in a play, which helps to further accentuate the main character's dream of being a popular actor. i feel like he as a person is very relatable. I understand that this book is about struggles as an East Asian person living in America, but I related to him even as a South Asian. His relationship with his parents reminds me of the relationship i have with mine. The main character's constant state of self pity is annoying but also very relatable.
