Eat to Beat Disease: The New Science of How Your Body Can Heal Itself by William W. Li
4.0
I’ve seen people’s complaints about this book and yes it CAN be redundant. And yet it’s full of great information, I learned some new things pertaining to food I didn’t know before, and it’s an awesome resource.
It’s the type of book I love having on my shelf to reference from time to time now that I’ve read it once. I’m unlikely to ever read it cover to cover again, but rather use it as that reference.
There are some things I don’t totally agree with the author on, but as nutrition is something that tends to be very arbitrary (to a point), I’m fine with it. There’s still plenty of good nuggets to take from it. It’s also a great starting point to spring other research out of, as well.
