Wow!!! Trouble starts out with a bang! It has such an intense beginning, that was a little hard to read at times.
Trouble follows the story of Mia, who has had the worst life. She feels as though her life can finally begin once her abusive father dies. But, unfortunatly for her, she leaves one nightmare for another. Her current boyfriend, Forbes, is horrible! Not only is he abusive, but uses sex as a weapon. I hated him. I wanted Mia to leave him before she ended up dead. So, needless to say, I was so happy when she was able to get away.
Then Mia meets Jordan. At first, she is intimidated by him because she only knows men to be hurtful. And Jordan turns out to be exactly what Mia needs.
I loved getting this story from both Mia and Jordan's pov. I felt that the author really nailed the male pov and the inside of Jordan's head is pretty funny!! I loved that Mia and Jordan's relationship started out as friends and built into something pretty amazing.
This story is a great one of friendship, love, an amazing second chance at life and learning how to get past scars that aren't only on the surface. As I previously stated this story was intense at times, but was so amazing!!
