I really enjoyed listening to this audio book, but I found some parts were extremely slow, especially at the end when I've figured out the Natalie story and I'm painfully waiting for Jake to catch up. Listening him to talk to her mother was like pulling teeth. If I had been reading it by book I definitely would have started skimming.

Overall, though, I liked this story much much better than The Stranger, which I listened to before this one.
