I am sad at the lack of romance, but I do also really appreciate it and we it’s value. I feel like this should be a 5 star, but something just feels off as I finish this. I want more. I’m not quite sure what I want, but it’s something. This book is a beautiful depiction of trauma, but it left me wanting a bit.
Graphic: Alcoholism, Child abuse, Emotional abuse, Physical abuse, Suicidal thoughts, Toxic relationship, and Suicide attempt
