Loathe to Love You by Ali Hazelwood

5.0

"Just making sure that a giant rat isn't trying to eat my jeans."

I was worried about this one because of some of the negatives I had heard about it. I think this book is best enjoyed if you go into it understanding that they are novellas and you won't get a condensed version of a novel for each story but you will still get a fully flushed out story with the important plot points and the well known Ali Hazelwood flair. I still felt that warm and cozy feeling I get from her novels and where some answers aren't blatantly explained, Hazelwood makes sure to leave the door open for us to figure it out. After reading this, Ali Hazelwood is officially one of my go-to authors, but, I promise you, no one is surprised by that.
