Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll
4.5
challenging dark emotional medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Complicated
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

I started the book hating every single character, but by the time it finished, the journey that the author took us on with the narrator, was a complicated, messy, tragic, but inspiring tale. Very hard to read, but very worth it. I particularly think teenaged boys should read this book in order to put themselves in the shoes of an supremely insecure 14 year old girl who desperately wants the approval of her most popular peers and what she endured just to sit at their table.
