Biting the Hand: Growing Up Asian in Black and White America by Julia Lee

This is a well-written memoir, but I’m realizing that I’m not particularly interested in reading a memoir about race for the sake of talking about race. I would rather read research than anecdotes or a memoir that incorporates the significance of race while focusing on other themes of memory.
