The Passage
by Justin Cronin
Once I began, I wished that I could put everything else on hold, and just read, read, read! I'm not a vampires-story gal, but The Passage isn't really about vampires. It is a story about people, about civilization, about life. I liked it, and I need to get my hands on The Twelve very soon.
For a book with so many characters, they are tolerably well-drawn, and surprisingly likeable.
I know that many of my reading friends wouldn't like this book, but I was especially glad that it was a substantial 766 pages.
