Artificial Condition was an incredibly fun read. I enjoyed all of the characters and the continuation of Murderbot's unique brand of humour. The inclusion of a character that involved a culture that had a different gender marker and had neo pronouns was lovely. It was also exciting to get a little more knowledge on Murderbot's background. The only thing keeping this book from five stars for me is the fact that all the characters Murderbot encounters feel like they are temporary and the lack of having any solid roots with people or places does leave me with a longing for some kind of persistent connection. Though this could definitely be remedied in future books.
