Flores para Ariana by Antonio Pampliega

challenging dark emotional sad fast-paced

5.0

I devoured this book without noticing. It was so captivating. I had to stop reading for a while since it was too much for me, but great book anyways. The way it makes you feel like you're there with Ariana... I just wanted to take care of her. I'm getting into Historical Fiction since I'm still scared it will be too much, but I don't regret reading this one. It's greatly written, the message it leaves is strong, and the fact that stuff like this is still happening in Afghanistan makes this story truer. I can't believe what women have to suffer there... I know I couldn't.
